16 - 22.09.2018 | City2Share takes part in the European Mobility Week I Be there and take part in the action week!
In the week from September 16th – 22nd, 2018, an action week will take place at Zenettiplatz, which will be redesigned as part of the project, with a programme for "young and old". We are in the process of putting together the program for this week. Various activities are currently planned, e.g. a discussion event, environmental education with children and cultural events. At the same time, the neighbourhood should be able to use the space for self-organised activities.
You will find all information about the final program at www.city2share.de as well.
General information about the European Mobility Week can be found at: www.mobilityweek.eu

From September 2018 there will be car sharing stations at Zenettiplatz, a bike station with MVG bikes and pedelecs as well as charging stations. On the other hand, the “new” space is attractively redesigned. This means for you: more space to linger, relax and for social exchange. Neighbourhood meetings, flea markets, flower beds, weekly markets and much more now find space in your neighbourhood! The conversion will start by the end of July 2018. From this point on, the public space at Zenettiplatz is no longer available for parking. The mobility station will open on September 17th, 2018 - there will be various activities within the "European Mobility Week" which are also intended to strengthen the neighbourhood alliance: join in!

27.06.2018 | Results of the 2nd quarter table I "More green, more space - fewer parking spaces: Redesign of the Zenettiplatz"
On the second quarter table within the framework of City2Share, residents, multipliers and project partners discussed with the planners what the "new" Zenettiplatz should look like. Because Zenettiplatz is being redesigned: Next to the mobility station, which will be built on a part of the square, a new place will be created on the other side of the square - with more greenery, seating and places to stay. After the first ideas were already collected at the Quartierswerkstatt last year, the raumzeug planning office has now developed a first draft on behalf of the City of Munich. This was presented and discussed at the neighbourhood table, to which a public invitation was issued. It became clear: The redesign is a good opportunity for the neighbourhood, as there are no recreational areas in the neighbourhood. This requires a lot of greenery and good ideas on how the course can be designed in such a way that it is protected from traffic noise. Further ideas were collected on the neighbourhood table and the design is now being revised. The opening of the new Zenettiplatz will take place on 17 September 2018.
